My 11 year old daughter wears a 7.5 in asics sneakers. These North Face boots at 7.5 fit just about the same, with enough room for her to wear thicker socks. If the size 8 boots were available, I would get those instead, but these 7.5 should be fine for at least one winter, and for my 8 year old, when she gets bigger.Do you want comfortable warm feet? If you said that’s why I’m looking, these are for you.I never tie them and there is no slipping, sliding or blisters with the cushion design around the foot and ankle. Instantly comfortable with zero break in period. The North Face made a shockingly good insert which keeps my arches supported and prevents foot fatigue.Barefoot, cotton, wool or any synthetic socks work well with these. Should you choose barefoot, the heel seam can rub just a touch, but that’s the price you pay when you’re too lazy and just slide your feet in to take puppy for a potty walk in the icy snow.Through sand, gravel, concrete, ice, rain, snow and general outdoorsy questionable muck, these have stayed dry, kept my piggies toasty and rinsed off nicely by walking in a puddle or wet grass. Excellent grip on all surfaces (except maybe black ice).I loved them so much, I bought a pair for my mom so she too could hike in comfort. If I had anything negative, it would be the material on the dark brown pair below the leather and above the rubber can collect snow hindering the warmth they generally provide. The pair on the left have waterproof leather down to the rubber foot which prevents this problem.Excellent for fall and winter hiking/walking in New England. Both the quality and price have me looking for summer/hiking options from The North Face. They run true to size and are comfortable on wider feet.Shellista IV Mid Insulated Snow Boot: Seemed ok, were a bit too small for me. Something strange about the heel of the boot, where you have to lift up your foot higher than normal to accommodate the heel of the boot. If you don't, it gets in the way of walking. That was a deal breaker, didn't try for a larger size. Put back in the box and returned. The Shellista IV Shorty does not have this heel problem. More comfortable.el tamaño 7 es como si fuera 6 pero aun asi son muy comodasI normally wear a 7.5, which is what I ordered. They were a little snug with regular socks, but would be much too tight with thick socks. I ordered these for cold morning walks and the occasional ski trip or ice storm. We don't usually get much snow, but it does get cold and I walk my kids to school most days. I don't know if all snow boots feel like ski boots, but I was hoping these would be more comfortable than my last pair of snow boots. They feel about the same.Love the boots. Bought them in a half size too small because that was the only size available, and they are tight but I like them so much that I hope they break in to my feet.Nice boots but not for me. I returned them. I didn't like the way they look or fit.Good winter boots , will keep you warm!Bought these boots to wear at the barn, for warmth and support for my feet. I'm a size 6 and had to return for size 7...the 6 was way to small. They are not bad for support, but I'm going to buy inserts for added cushioning. And within an hour my feet were starting to get cold....we haven't had any really cold days yet so I don't know what they will be like when we get to -15C or -20CSon para pie delgado, y de uso no rudo, ya que el frente de la bota se siente delgado, el forro interno es similar, son para temperaturas no muy bajas.
