The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I really wish it had a hood or even a hidden hood. It’s a great coat. I got it on prime day for a good deal, because green is my son’s favorite color, but I feel like he’s going to need another coat with a hood for stormy days. He gets by in the cold with a hoodie under or by wearing a beanie, but those hoods aren’t waterproof & snow proof.My littles class has been holding a lot of classroom work outside during Covid. This jacket has been a great warmth /windbreaker barrier for him (Michigan). It hasn’t snowed yet so I’m unsure how warm it will be, but so far perfect for a cold and windy Michigan fall. He’s on the small side at 6.5 yo, got the XS and have plenty of room for growth.Bought the small which fits a boy size 7-8, perfect fit with enough room to allow growth through the winter season. This is a miniture replica,except color, of the North Face I have. It is a winter coat that is very light, with a nice tailored fit.The fill amount is 550, which has proved warm enough through the winters of Buffalo. The goose down has also been treated to withstand moderate moisture so as not to lose it's insulating properties. Also, the quality for the price can't get much better. I have been very pleased with my NF, and I have no doubt my grandson will experience the same satisfaction.I highly recommend this coat/jacket and would proudly recommend it to family and friends and others.Stunning blue! Looks amazing with jeans, very stylish and versatile piece, even in this bright color. Very light weight material which was huge on my list. My son likes to be active and hates bulky coats. He’s 2 and is wearing 3T clothes so I got the XXS for him to have room for layers, a must in CT winters.I bought it since I saw the price is okay and some reviews said it can keep warm till -10 or other else degree but the truth is I think it can only cover 0 degree and it depends on everyone I thought!Fits just as expected and the color looks even better in person. The cut is very flattering to different body types as well. I purchased it in medium and x-large for each of my boys and they both loved it. I like that it's warm without being bulky or heavy which was my youngest son's biggest complain about his old jacket because well let's face it-what kid wants to be weighed down by his jacket while running around during recess. It also has a place inside for their names which is a nice little touch and a must for school aged kids.I ordered this for an Angel Tree kiddo so I'm not sure how much longevity it will have since I never get to meet the "Angles" that I buy for.. but As far as when it came new, I have to say that I was very pleased and thought that it would fit him really well.This jacket is light weight andkeeps my son warm in 30 weather. My son weighs just over 50 pounds and is around 49 inches tall so I order the size 7/8 and the sleeves are a bit long which will allow room to grow and wear again next winter.Size is correct bought a xl for a 12 wanted it a bit larger fits well. Great colour shame it’s got no sort of hoodJacket looks good, fits well but would have benefited from a hood (even a concealed one)My 13 year old son loves this coat. Has barely taken it off since it arrived.It is very good this is a very nice jacket and my daughter loves it very muchNice jacket. My 11 year old son is over the moon with it. He’s tall for his age, bought size large and it’s a good fit with a little growing room.
